About

Hi! I'm Riley. I'm a Senior Computer Science major at the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a concentration in Data Science and AI. I build cool stuff: rover control systems, LLM search tools, home servers, and a plethora of other things.

Right now I'm interning at Watts.AI, where I work on AI agent tooling and enterprise integrations. Beyond work, I lead the software team for the ASTRA rover project at UAH's Space Hardware Club, where I've spent the last two years building everything from ROS2 nodes, NixOS system configurations, React-based control interfaces, and embedded control systems.

Before college I was the software lead for an FTC robotics team in Georgia and I earned the rank of Eagle Scout. I enjoy running NixOS on my machines and I maintain a home lab for self-hosted services using TrueNAS. I like systems that are reproducible, well-documented, and as simple as I can make them.
